Neighbourhood cycling improvements
As part of the Nottingham Cycle City Ambition Programme, the Neighbourhood level cycle improvements package will aim to make local cycle journeys easier, safer and more attractive, in particular for less experienced cyclists.
This work will be strongly supported by the 20mph programme. In addition a review of all cycle signing across the City is also underway and this will inform how cyclists are directed and connected to the cycle corridors.
Improvement works will be open to consultation and once devised and residents and visitors will be able to have their say before final proposals are agreed. Schemes which will benefit from the funding will include The Wells Road in St Ann's, The Lenton Green Corridor and the National Cycle Network in Bulwell.
